RTL Foundation hosted the “Where did all the GOOD Allies go?” on January 24th at the Art Gallery at the BIPOC Nonprofit Development Center (BNDC) in Five Points.
This panel workshop was moderated by MiDian Holmes, Founder and CEO of the Epitome of Black Excellence and Partnership. Panelists included; Jamie Jackson, Incoming Board Chair and Vice President, Colorado Black Women for Political Action; Maleeka Jihad, Executive Director, MJCF Coalition; and Michelle Quattlebaum, Community Engagement Manager, WellPower.
This well attended workshop discussed openly the regression in support of BIPOC communities by Allies, born in the wake of the social justice movement in 2020 and during the pandemic, and which is now waning post-pandemic.
Thank you to the panelists and guests for your support, and to MiDian and the Epitome of Black Excellence and Partnership (EBEP). EBEP is a member of our inaugural cohort of 22 BIPOC-led nonprofits that call BNDC home.
