BIPOC Nonprofit Development Center (BNDC) Membership Application

The BIPOC Nonprofit Development Center in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood is designed to provide BIPOC led and Minority serving start-up, emerging and established non-profit organizations an inclusive, entrepreneurial, collaborative, learning and nurturing space to build up their capacity to grow, thrive and scale.

Membership is competitive and available for "in person" occupancy at Five Points with access to full office, cubicle and day desk workspaces; as well as remote/virtual memberships for BIPOC led and serving non-profits anywhere in the Denver Metro, and throughout Colorado.


Applicants can choose to apply for in-person membership, or for remote/virtual membership.


All members will have access to Board rooms, event space, and the BNDC art gallery at Five Points;
As well as programming that includes trainings, workshops, seminars, convenings, networking events, mentors, and curated talks presented by partner organizations and external experts on topics important to non-profits.

Applications for in-person and virtual memberships are open 

Applicants selected to join the BNDC will be notified via email.

Applicants not selected for in-person membership will be offered remote/virtual membership.

Remote/virtual members will have an opportunity to apply to become in-person members when in-person vacancies in the BNDC become available.

RTL Foundation

The BNDC Incubator at Five Points is building an inclusive space for start-up, emerging and established BIPOC and Minority serving non-profit organizations where they can learn, collaborate, grow and scale to better serve their community and have greater impact.  The BNDC is partnering with external organizations and experts to deliver year-round programming to make this possible. As part of in-person BNDC Incubator or BNDC Incubator Without Walls membership, members are required to be active participants in the trainings, programming, and check-ins to monitor and evaluate member’s growth.

 


Please submit the following required documents:

  • For registered 501c3 non-profit organizations, financials for the most recent two years
    • 990 Forms for the two most recent years – not older than 2019
    • Audited Financial Statements for the two most recent years – not older than 2019
      • Board approved organizational budget for current year
        • Budget for upcoming year (optional)
      • IRS Letter of Determination for non-profit status
        • 501c3 Letter of Determination
      • Articles of Incorporation
      • Certificate of Good Standing from the Colorado Secretary of State
        • Must be for current year of application for membership into BNDC
      • List of Board Members, for each Board member provide:
        • Name
        • Their profession and affiliation (employer, other non-profits)
        • Their role on the Board (ex: Chair, Treasurer, etc.)
  • For non-profit organizations without 501c3 status:
    • Articles of Incorporation
    • Certificate of Good Standing from the State of Colorado
    • Organizational budget for the current year, 2023
    • Organizational budget for 2022
