1977, Colorado Black Women for Political Action (CBWPA), the brainchild of former State Senator Gloria Tanner, was founded by 13 women who wanted to encourage African-American participation in the political process and serve as a political advocate for the African-American community.

The Economic Development Association for Black Communities is a 501(c)(6) membership organization. Our members invest in developing and amplifying strategies for inclusive economies that increase access to and for Black talent, entrepreneurship, and political leaders in Colorado.

FrontLine Farming is a food and farmers advocacy group focusing on food growing, education, sovereignty and justice. Our farming sites:

Glowmundo collaborates with educators, families, and community leaders to educate & build practices that champion equity, social and emotional learning, community engagement, and academic achievement. Our training and curriculum offer skills, research-based strategies, and community-building experiences for children, youth, and adults.

Established in 1949, LAEF is the oldest Latino scholarship organization in the state of Colorado. For 75 years, LAEF has provided scholarships, educational opportunities, and community partnerships to Colorado Latino students to help them reach their highest potential.

Metro DEEP was founded to become an infrastructure and ecosystem that develops, connects and sustains an economic ecosystem, including ownership and autonomy, thereby increasing Black wealth.

Our Mission is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination.

Our Vision is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights without discrimination based on race.

We provide our members with educational and numerous peer learning and networking opportunities – along the Front Range and in rural communities. And we continue to work on strengthening connections between funders, philanthropists and the charitable organizations they support. We also advocate for the sector and work to communicate the value of philanthropy to policymakers, community leaders and the media.

The Rocky Mountain NAACP CO-MT-WY State Conference (RMNAACP) is the home of grassroots activism for civil rights and social justice for three states. We have more than 10,000 members across Colorado, Montana and Wyoming, powered by thousands of volunteers and activists. Our National NAACP office is leading the nation in the engagement of minority and BIPOC communities to engage in the fight on global climate change and the transition to a clean energy-powered country.

Our vision at SCD Enrichment Program (SCDEP) is to create a future where all students, regardless of their background, have equitable access to advanced coursework opportunities. By partnering with school districts, colleges, universities, community elders, organizations, teachers, families, and students, we are dedicated to transforming Gifted and Talented, honors, Concurrent Enrollment, Advance Placement, and International Baccalaureate classrooms and programs to mirror the rich diversity of our nation.

We Restore, Elevate, Acknowledge, and Protégé (REAP) Black Excellence in our city.  Black Excellence has always existed and has been prevalent in the innovation and sustainability of today’s society. Far too often, these contributions (both past and present) are hidden, ignored, and suppressed. Through collaborative alliances with businesses, organizations, and community leaders, we aspire to forge a robust network of support and resources. This network will stand as a testament to the enduring legacy of Black Excellence, immortalizing its significance within our societal fabric.

The Traillionaires Foundation fundamentally wants to help students obtain life-sustaining jobs faster, develop important life skills, and increase financial knowledge, thus advancing the rate of youth of color  develop creditworthiness, savings, and investments.The Traillionaires Foundation mission can be accomplished through year-long out-of-school programming, annual events, and intentional accelerated programs that occur during the summer months.

The Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado offers a wide range of leadership training, which includes our flagship program, ULF Connect Leadership. Since our founding in 2007, the Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado has successfully :
Cultivated African American elected officials, CEOs, philanthropic giving organizations, board members, and much more. Our programs and events are designed to help individuals become more well-rounded, effective and influential leaders in the areas of business, politics and community service.

Our vision is to change the outdoor industry by normalizing the presence of Black & Brown leaders in outdoor spaces by nurturing BIPOC lead outdoor businesses. This program supports and empowers outdoor leaders to become community members by helping them build and lead their own outdoor programs. We recognize the unique challenges and systemic barriers faced by BIPOC leaders in the outdoor industry, and our program is specifically designed to provide the necessary resources, mentorship, and training to overcome these obstacles and create impactful nonprofit organizations or for-profit business to help close generational wealth gaps within our communities.

Founded in 2022, WDC works to advance prosperity, well-being and societal transformation among women, youth, BIPOC and disadvantaged communities. We use a whole person approach focused on economic empowerment, community building, community investments, and health and mental well-being initiatives that include education, skill development, civic engagement, coaching and more. Our work is grounded in principles of equity, safety, and self-determination.

We are an organization created and run by latinx therapists on a mission to increase mental health care providers serving the Latinx Spanish speaking community and empowering our next generation of Latinx therapist. We are a fiscally sponsored nonprofit project under Colorado Nonprofit Development Center (CNDC).
